Document / File Distribition Services
Netsite specializes in the efficient and very economical distribution of documents and files that are too large to e-mail, and need to be delivered faster and more economically that FedEx or UPS. Netsite technology can deliver electronic mortgage, legal or other official documents securely and instantly to your client or customer. It is as easy as sending an email attachment, but frees you from the limitations imposed by e-mail servers.
Most large electronic documents that are 1MB - 50MB in size are simply unsuitable as email attachments. If they manage to get through your own corporate email server, your client's email box will reject it. Netsite offers a very efficient and easy way to electronically send large documents in a way that is completely secure, and will not affect email servers at all.
Distribution Process
- To send a document our clients simply log into their proprietary Netsite web console, select the "Upload" button, select the file on the client's computer that is to be sent, and click the "Submit" button. The file is instantly transferred to a secure Netsite server using FTP, the Internet's well established file transfer protocol. The transferred file then waits for your client to log in a downbload the document. Your client does not need to be a Nersite customer, nd it is an entirely free service for them.
- To retrieve your document, your client is automatically sent an email informing your client that your company has sent a secure document to them, and it can be securely downloaded from this link. This secure email provides your customer or client with a link to the download site, and the user id and password required to log into the download page and retrieve the document.
- Every aspect of this process is secure. The download page is protected by SSL encryption, and the complete transmission of your document is encrypted, from the time it leaves your computer to the time it is received by your customer.
